More Seattle Fun

We started our Thursday with breakfast at the top of the Hilton hotel; I was pleasantly surprised by the view. We had been to the top the night before but couldn't see a lot because it was dark out. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and bay for breakfast.

After breakfast we hit the streets, with the intent of finding the Northface store, train depot and Underground Tour adventure. After discovering that most things were closed until 11 we found ourselves sitting in big leather cozy chairs in front of the fireplace drinking coffee in Pioneer Square. From there we went to the train station stopping along the way for some window shopping. At the train station we got the 411 Justify Fullfor our trip to Vancouver on Saturday. Now we know what to expect and have a better understanding of what we need to do Saturday morning.

We wandered around the Seattle's historic Pioneer Square District stopping in art galleries and watching glass blowing at the Glasshouse Studio then we caught the 1 pm Underground Tour of Pioneer Square. I really enjoyed the tour, great history lesson. I would highly recommend it if you find yourself in Seattle. We did some more exploring of the city and went to the Columbia Center Skyview. Spectacular views of Seattle, Puget Sound and the surrounding mountains. Seattle is a city where you do not need a car, I love it!
